CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES Here at Chester we are blessed by the abundance of children and their families who learn, grow and serve here at Chester. Below you will find several different ways for your child to connect with one of the many opportunities for spiritual growth here at Chester.  If you have additional questions you may contact me directly at DSF@Chesterumc.org. Sunday School It is our hearts to desire to nurture our children is their spiritual growth and development.  Sunday school plays a very integral part in this process.  Classes are held every Sunday morning at 9:45 upstairs in the children areas.  Children’s Church Yes, children desire to worship as well in their own way!  Join us on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays for Children’s church upstairs in the media room.  The children engage in the worship experience, through songs, prayer and storytelling all of which are catered to their hearts and minds.

D.A.S.H. ~ Discovering and Serving Him! Ready, Set, Go! That’s a motto that describes this group of children and adult volunteers who guide them.  Children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade gather on the 3rd Sunday of each month @2:30 p.m. to engage in activities for learning, growing and serving in various ways.  Don’t hesitate to have your child join in on the magnetic ministry for children! Nursery   How we love to nurture and love our wee little ones…  Chester UMC offers nursery services during the 8:45 and 11:00 worship services as well as during the 9:45 Sunday school hour for infants up to age 4.  The nurseries for infants, mobiles’ and toddlers are staffed each Sunday morning by paid staff, volunteers and a parent co-op.  All are welcome! Nursery School Chester UMC has a wonderful pre-school for children ages 2 ½ to 4 years old.
